In this video review, we take a look at UVI's latest instrument for Falcon and UVI Workstation Nagoya Harp. The Nagoya Harp, is a Japanese harp instrument from the early 20th century that combined the mechanics from a typewriter. In the early 1980's Tom Oberheim was instrumental in gaining support from all major synth and keyboard manufacturers for the adoption of MIDI as the standard protocol. DRONAR Dark Synthesis is a powerful and dark sounding drone synth instrument made up of four layers. Each layer has a set of controls that are commonly found in other synth products. Intensity and Movement controls are at the core of DRONAR Dark Synthesis, enabling users to dial in movement and colour of drone layers. Play a single note on a MIDI controller and DRONAR comes alive and instantly evokes dark emotions.
The UVX80 feature set and GUI design are both typical UVI, great for regular users of UVI synth instruments as the UVI synth familiarity in this product will quickly diminish any kind of learning curve.
