This week’s free plugin is Initial Audio’s Dynamic EQ, a straightforward and very useable dynamic EQ which works in Pro Tools, one of the few DAWs which doesn’t feature a stock dynamic EQ.
What Is Dynamic EQ?
As the name suggests it’s a dynamic EQ. It can be used as a conventional equaliser, offering cut filters, shelving filters and peak filters, an RTA and adds dynamic EQ functionality. If your DAW doesn’t offer a dynamic EQ as a stock plugin then this is great place to find one. The approach is no-nonsense and it’s easy to quickly get the result you’re looking for with this modern UI.
Dynamic EQ is free until the end of March when it will return to its regular price of $49.
