“I'm a freelance sound editor and re-recording mixer for film and television. I have a passion for non-fiction storytelling and specialize in documentary feature films and TV series. I've been running my own boutique audio studio in downtown Los Angeles for the past 10 years and have been lucky enough to work on all kinds of wonderful nonfiction projects which have won awards from Sundance, SXSW, Tribeca and others.
Working on feature films, and especially in broadcast television, things like loudness measurement tools, True Peak limiters and upmixers and downmixers are all vitally important to the workflow and process.
I know from experience in other studios how effective Nugen Audio's Halo Upmix is, and I'm looking forward to trying out their host of other tools to improve my workflow and broadcast spec compliance.
I'm also looking forward to incorporating VisLM into my monitoring as I mix, and trying out tools that are new to me in the bundle like the SEQ-S and seeing what kinds of new creative applications I can make with them. Being an independent and running a boutique studio, this bundle will help the studio space grow and provide all kinds of new post production tools that I am really grateful and thankful for!”
