CB Electronics, the company founded by technical guru Colin Broad has announced a new website to showcase its growing move into smart monitoring solutions.
Many in the film and broadcast community have relied on Colin Broad's expertise to solve a range of problems over the years especially in the area of machine and system control. Now Colin and the team at CB Electronics want to bring that same expertise to help audio professionals control the growing range of monitoring solutions from various manufacturers including Avid, Yamaha, Trinnov, DAD and more.
At the heart of their solutions is the flagship TMC-1 Monitor Controller, described as the large console system without the need for a large console. In an industry that is moving towards working and mixing 'in the box,' there are still situations where hands-on control is best; the TMC-1 offers unprecedented features and control that belie its small size.
In addition to the support of third-party monitor controllers and audio interfaces CB Electronics has a comprehensive range of solutions in the form of A-Mon, I-Mon and XPand, designed to meet the growing needs of multi-channel formats such as Dolby Atmos.
Speaking about the new website and the move into monitoring solutions, Operations Manager Daniel Broad said;
“Colin has created an enviable reputation over many years for solving synchronisation and connectivity issues, the new challenge for the audio industry is working with complex audio channel counts and new protocols such as Audio over IP, our products help audio professionals solve these problems with minimal headaches. The new website has been created to both showcase our products and give both existing and new customers all the information they need.”
Colin Broad will be at 145th AES Convention in New York representing CB Electronics and showing off the I-Mon. You can find him on Stand 313 along with our friends from Kali and AEA microphones.
