When it came to the letter L it was always going to be Lexicon. While the 480 is probably the best known of the classic Lexicon Studio Reverbs, the 224 was the groundbreaking product in my opinion. Although EMT had released the EMT 250 in 1976, the 224 offered quality digital reverberation at a much reduced price.
