We’ve teamed up with our friends at Klevgrand to give you the chance to win one of five copies of their brand new drum sampler and percussive workstation – OneShot. What’s more, the winner of our first prize will also get all the sample packs to go with it!
According to Klevgrand, Oneshot is a “percussive workstation” specifically designed for one-shots (single strike samples), it’s fun to play, excellent sounding and stuffed with purposeful features.
Following in the footsteps of their percussion innovations like Slammer, Borsta, Ting and Skaka, OneShot is Klevgrand’s biggest and most capable drum instrument yet. It’s packed with lots of handy features to give any drums an organic feel, like humanize settings, velocity layering and round robin, you’ll also find additional tools like choking, filters, envelopes, an extensive effects system, and multi-out routing.
Each sound slot comes with its own mixer channel, allowing you to tweak effects, adjust levels, and route audio exactly how you want it. Plus, with support for multi-output, you can take your sound even further by processing individual channels in your DAW.
Check out what Luke Goddard thought of it in his first look review article and video below…
Whether you’re a drummer, producer, or engineering composer, OneShot sets itself apart from other VIs. On one hand it has extensive features for live MIDI inputs, making it just like a ‘soft’ brain for hardware pads and triggers. On the other, it can sit in the mix taking its hits from the timeline just like any other drum VI. This helps it to do mechanised, hard-edged electronica as well as organic acoustic sounds as well. Coupled with a simple mixer with just enough flexibility to keep engineers happy as well, OneShot is a great all-rounder!
