In this extended video review Pro Tools Expert team member Julian Rodgers looks at Amber, a virtual acoustic guitar instrument from UJAM, examining the interface and auditioning the instrument both in isolation and in context with other instruments.
Intelligent Chords And Styles
In the very economical interface Amber offers quick access to chords appropriate to the key of your song with a single finger or by playing full chords the player can take manual control of the chords selection.
The playing patterns available are keyswitched from the left hand - to take full control of his instrument a 61 note keyboard or larger is recommended, the bottom 2 octaves contain common phrases which remain available at all times. The next octave up contains style-specific patterns which change depending on the style selected.
