To celebrate their 30th anniversary, EastWest is offering 50% off of many of their products including the EastWest/Quantum Leap Hollywood Series with orchestra, strings, brass, woodwinds, percussion, Symphonic Orchestra and Symphonic Choirs, Ministry of Rock, Silk, Stormdrum 2, and Goliath.
30 years ago, when sampling technology was in its infancy, Doug Rogers saw an opportunity to change how samples were recorded and sold. He founded EastWest and the rest, as they say, is history. Back in 2013, Doug explained his strategy for success:
Find what's missing in the market as music changes, then do it first or do it better.
In 2015 EastWest was the first to launch a subscription model for virtual instruments called ComposerCloud, which lowered the cost of entry to more than 10,000 virtual instruments for music producers on any budget. During their 30th anniversary celebration, EastWest is also offering ComposerCloud at a 50% discount for the first 30 days for new subscribers. For details, please visit SoundsOnLine.
More recently, EastWest released Hollywood Choirs, a new vocal virtual instrument with deep, rich male and angelic and dramatic female sections. Hollywood Choirs is the third choir EastWest/Quantum Leap has sampled. The improved WordBuilder plugin allows the composer to type in any word or phrase and have it sung by the choir.
The whole team at EastWest are looking forward to future decades and will continue to develop breathtakingly sounding instruments and new technologies.
We would like to wish EastWest a Happy 30th Anniversary!
