Austin-based Delptronics is two-person show. Mickey Delp and his partner Erin put out some cool little modules and are especially known for the LDB-1se mini-sequencer. (Erin also designs and sells the geek-chic line of Couture Voltage synth-printed clothing and more than deserves her own story for it.)
Mickey shows us what's new for 2018, beginning with a MIDI thru module for translating MIDI on an old-fashioned DIN plug to TRS in and out. (You did know MIDI uses only three conductors, right?) Then there's the AmpTenuVerter, which we'll let him explain for himself. THEN, there's the WiiCHVOK module, which takes motion input from a Nintendo "nunchuck" controller and translates it into control signals for your Eurorack rig.
And finally, a self-contained Theremin featuring plenty of knobs to control a fully realized synth voice. Stay tuned for more synth news from NAMM 2018!
