UVI, the makers of many brilliant virtual instruments and soft synths, has today released a new Nagoya Harp Instrument.
What Is Nagova Harp?
UVI Nagoya Harp is a new instrument collection inspired by a beautiful stringed instrument capable of a range of sounds from guitar-like strums to harp plucks and bowed sustains. Nagoya Harp includes 2 variations:
- STRUM: The classic instrument, aimed at more traditional sounds
- KEYS: An expanded version incorporating modern and experimental playing techniques.
Over 20,000 samples were captured, delivering the delicate nuance and detail of the original instrument, while 3 fully-mixable mics including a condenser, ribbon and tube allow for absolute control over the sound. Watch the UVI overview video to learn more about Nagoya Harp
Here is what UVI have to say about Nagoya Harp:
Our goal in developing Nagoya Harp was to create an instrument that would satisfy both the traditionalist and modern producer, providing the accurate and convincing sound of the classical instrument while also delving into new territory with expanded playing techniques, performance scripts and effects to inspire musicians of all backgrounds. With over 20,000 samples, Nagoya Harp is a collection that transcends genre, created for those with an affinity for beautiful traditional tones and contemporary explorers of the avant garde.
