If you aren't familiar with Nashville tuning, Nashville or high strung tuning is replacing the wound E, A, D and G strings on a six-string guitar with lighter gauge strings to allow tuning an octave higher than standard. One advantage to Nashville tuning is less expensive instruments are ok to use. If you have a beginner guitar lying around or a lower end guitar that plays well. Nashville tuning may be a perfect way to repurpose that instrument that doesn't currently get much attention. String manufactures actually make string sets for this type of tuning.

Many of us came from other DAW when we discovered the joys of Studio One. With the release of Studio One 3 back in May, those of us who used other software samplers were surprised with an update that would load sample libraries from some of those samplers.
An Instrument Track is different from the Audio Tracks we saw a while ago. Instrument tracks are used to record virtual instrument performances.

Multi Instruments are a powerful part of the music production process in Studio One 3 allowing the user to create complex soundscapes in their own eco-system. However you may have been using one and then found that there's no Cue Send on that channel. The first time I came across this I thought it was either a bug or an oversight of the developers, however I shouldn't have underestimated them as any instrument in a Multi Instrument can still be sent to a Cue using the following methods.
If you are a fan of MainStage (now with awesome Alchemy synth included for $30) and want to use it with Studio One then it's possible, just follow this simple steps.

Presence XT is a great sampler that is now shipping with Studio One 3 Professional, Studio One Artist and Studio One Prime. One small miss right now is that you can't get separate outputs from Presence XT, which when mixing things like drums makes it less possible to do things like treat a snare drum with reverb or a kick drum with new compression. However follow this tip and you can create separate stems to give you more powerful mixing possibilities.
