Studio One 4 was launched last week with a raft of new features that included a new Chord Track, Song Data Import and updated versions of included instruments Impact XT and Sample One XT.
We were intrigued to see what users felt were their favourite feature from the headline features so we conducted a Studio One 4 feature poll.
Every participant was given the opportunity to choose their 3 favourite features. Nearly 600 community members have voted and here are the results, they have been rounded to the nearest number.
Chord Track gets a big thumbs up taking top spot but what the poll shows is that workflow features such as Song Data Import, AAF Import/Export, Pattern Editor and Ripple editing are proving more popular than what can often be perceived as the 'eye candy' virtual instruments. In fact, Ripple Editing, a feature that many users could not see a point for, received more votes than either Impact XT or Sample One XT.

Small Things Matter
Whilst some features can make great headlines, it's often the features that seem small and get written off in the noise of criticism that prove to be the winners. It makes sense that workflow improvements are popular, on a day-to-day basis we all appreciate those things that make our job easier and help us to deliver the best possible work with can.
