Exponential Audio have released their latest plug-in Excalibur, described as "the Swiss army knife of audio" it promises a lot and with a name like Excalibur we expect more legends than myths.
Exponential Audio is the company formed by ex-Lexicon reverb designer Michael Carnes and in the short time they have been in business their two reverbs PhoenixVerb and R2 have created a buzz amongst professional audio engineers, dubbing mixers and producers.
Now Exponential Audio hope to make the same splash with this multi-effects processor.
- Four independent voices, with Solo control for quick checks.
- Long delay (2.5 sec) available for each voice. Delay time may be directly selected or tied to tempo. Tempo may be read from the session itself or tapped in.
- Flexible EQ (Lowpass 6dB/12db, Highpass 6dB/12dB, Bandpass or Notch with variable Q. EQ is available on voice output as well as in the feedback path
Effects include: Reverb, Delay, Flanger, Phaser, Chorus, Pitch Shifter, Ring Modulator and more.
