The team at Slate Media Technology are very pleased to be able to announce the latest software update for the Raven line of multi-touch monitor controllers. Version 3.7 introduced a new feature called Batch Gestures which Slate say will revolutionise how you mix and navigate your session on the Raven.
Raven 3.7
The new updated Raven 3.7 software introduces a very cool and interactive new feature called Batch Gestures. Steven and the team had some of the industry’s biggest names beta test the Raven 3.7 and most said they were overwhelmed by the amount of time they were able to save using this new feature.
Batch Gestures enable users to execute complex batches of DAW tasks using classic multi-touch gestures. The sort of thing we have become used to doing on the iPhone or iPad. What once took a myriad of mouse clicks can now be accomplished with the swipe of a hand. Check out the video below.
Other Feature Additions
Cubase 10.5 users can now update and utilise the new Cubase 10.5 MixConsole track colours with the Raven Internal Mixer and Raven 3.7 is now fully compatible with Windows and Ableton Live.
Finally, Raven 3.7 added an AutoSave feature so any adjustments made to your layout are automatically saved and stored as the user default.
