Mountainroad DSP, the people behind the AuxCord plugin which allows streaming from your phone to your DAW, have announced the launch of Lumina Delay, a plugin which promises unprecedented control over delay points and their parameters.
Lumina Delay sets itself apart by offering users a deep level of control over their delay effects. It gives users with the ability to finely tune not only the rhythm of their delay but also the parameters of each delay point. Users can move delay points around freely adjusting not only timing but also parameters such as volume, panning, HighPass, and LowPass.
Unlimited Delay Points
Create as many delay points as needed. From a simple slap delay to a delay pattern spanning over a multiple bars. Lumina Delay offers the freedom to create delay effects like never before.
“I wanted to think outside the box so I created a delay that defies the status quo and reaches beyond the limitations of conventional delay settings. This is just the beginning. We have ambitious expansion plans, promising improved functionalities, additional features, and an enriched design in the upcoming updates.”

Parameters
The top row gives users access to the volume parameter. Sliding a delay point up will add up to 24dB of boost while dragging it down gives users the ability to go all the way down to -100 dB. To fine tune the volume value, users can right- click on a delay point and manually enter the desired value.
In the second row, users can create intricate panning patterns. Moving the delay point to the top will pan that individual delay to the left while moving it to the bottom will pan it to the right. The pan parameter enables panning patterns that are not possible with standard delays.
The bottom row gives users control over the HighPass and LowPass filters. By dragging the top part of the rectangle down, users effectively cut the high frequencies, while dragging the bottom part up will cut the low frequencies. The rectangle visually represents the audible frequency spectrum for that specific delay point.
