Plugin Alliance has released the Lindell 50 Series. An API channel strip with interchangeable modules and TMT modelling.
API consoles, preamps, and EQs are revered the world over. The “American Neve” is one of the big three names which immediately come to mind when discussing world-class vintage consoles so the new 50 series from Lindell Audio promises a great deal. Thanks to Brainworx’s patented TMT, users of the Lindell Audio 50 Series can now access an API channel strip as an alternative to Brainworx’s excellent Neve and SSL Channel Strips, including the slight channel-to-channel variances in the values of their analog components modelled by TMT.
The Lindell Audio 50 Series is more than just a model of a single console. it provides an array of choices in its dynamics and EQ sections. Users can simply switch in their favourite flavour of classic 500-series modules moreover, they can also be used on busses or individual tracks.
Choose between three classic EQs — the semi-parametric 50A EQ for three-band processing, the 50B for four bands, and the 60 as a precision graphic EQ. Compressor models available are either API’s high-end 2500 series compressor or the included FET compressor, modeled after the API 525.
72 different TMT channel emulations in one plugin — just like a real console; three switchable EQs modeled after the most popular 500- series lunchbox designs; two switchable compressors; classic API noise gate and expander emulation; classic API preamp tone capture with automatic gain compensation; continuously variable THD (Total Harmonic Distortion) and virtual GAIN controls to add saturation and/or simulated analog noise independently or globally; and scalable UI (User Interface) to adapt to different screen sizes and workflows,
