Russ - Metal 10 Port USB3 Hub
Mike - All You Need Is Ears by George Martin - It is a very interesting read, learnt lots about George I didn’t know. Even though it was written in 1979, there is still a lot we can learn from George’s techniques. There is no doubt he was a trailblazer.
Eli - Using the Waves PuigChild plug-in on the master bus. I was working on a mix recently and put it across the master with extremely conservative settings. A time constant of 1, which is unusual for a master bus application, attenuated the input gain so the gain reduction needle was barely moving, threshold up just a tad from fully counter-clockwise, and no makeup gain. It just kissed the transients ever so slightly, in a way that added brightness and excitement to the groove!
