As a result of the worldwide coronavirus outbreak, many industries have suffered supply chain delays, unfortunately including the audio hardware manufacturing industry.
Almost 10-months after announcing SC3070 at NAMM 2020 - specialist studio monitor manufacturers of EVE Audio are finally expecting to begin shipping their new flagship speaker in mid-October 2020.
So, here a quick recap of what’s to come..
SC3070 Overview
Designed for pro-audio engineers who want an accurate sound, the EVE Audio SC3070 is a tri-amplified, 3-way monitor for use in mid-field or near-field applications – whether it’s studio recording, mixing or mastering.
The monitor offers a precise midrange response, as well as powerful lows and pristine highs for a relatively compact monitor, making it an ideal solution where studio space considerations are a big factor.
The SC3070 is a rear-firing bass-reflex design to ensure an accurate low response. It has a 4" midrange driver and a low-frequency driver measuring 6.5” and employs EVE's renowned Air Motion Transformer RS3 high-frequency driver for the high-end sound. Each driver is powered by a Class D amplifier.
The monitor utilises internal DSP that makes use of high-quality Burr-Brown converters to provide 24-bit / 192 kHz internal conversion. This ensures latency-free filtering when required and protects the entire monitoring system from overloads.
Here is the teaser video to whet your appetite - and we’ve a full review of the SC3070, coming very soon.
