Sound Radix is one of those plugin companies who consistently break new ground. They have a relatively small product lineup but each of those plug-ins does something unique, something which no one else has made. In our recent poll, we reflected on this distinctive approach and asked the community which of the plugins from Sound Radix is their favourite. The results were pretty emphatically in favour of Auto Align Post and Auto Align, it seems that comb filtering is just as much of a problem as it was ten years ago when Sound Radix launched their first product, which coincidentally was Auto Align!
To mark their 10th anniversary we’ve assembled a timeline of Sound Radix product releases. Congratulations to Sound Radix and who knows what innovation the next ten years will bring?

Auto Align
Destructive phase issues caused by timing differences between mics don’t always sound obvious, and how should you go about correcting them when you have the tools? Hear the difference and see how to approach this in this free demonstration tutorial.

Surfer
EQ
In spite of all of the lovingly modelled 1176s, there is plenty of innovation in plug in design. From “impossible” plug-ins which do something previously unachievable, to examples of excellent design, where companies mange to identify and address something lacking in the design of currently available processors. Here are some examples of plug-ins which offer something genuinely new, either in what they achieve or how they achieve it.
2012
Pi
Our very own Julian Rodgers is back with another great video, explaining what Sound Radix plug-ins do. In this free video tutorial, made with the support of Sound Radix, this time Julian explains the deeper workings of Sound Radix Pi, a plug-in designed to help deal with the complex phase relationships that happen in a mix.

32 Lives
We have covered the compatibility issues the release of macOS Catalina has inevitable introduced. To find out the status of your software check our regularly updated Catalina Compatibility Database, however, something which might have escaped your attention is the future for any of us who are still using 32-bit VST or AU plug-ins on macOS via Sound Radix’s 32 Lives.
2014
Drum Leveler
In this free video tutorial Production Expert team member Julian Rodgers shows how SoundRadix Drum Leveler differs from conventional dynamics processors.

MuteOMatic
We can now reveal what Sound Radix teased us with a month ago. What's even better is that it is a free plug-in. MUTEOMATIC is a simple plug-in that automates the activation of a talkback or listen microphone channel according to your DAW’s transport status and displays the talkback activation status.
2016
Surfer EQ 2
In this short free video tutorial made by Pro Tools Expert team member Julian Rodgers for Sound Radix, learn how EQ works and how Surfer EQ works differently.

POWAIR
POWAIR from SoundRadix is a very cool plug-in. However being a SoundRadix plug-in it does things differently. Because of this it can be confusing. If you are yet to try POWAIR and are wondering what the fuss is about watch the new introduction video from SoundRadix with Dan Worrall.

Auto Align Post
I often get the sync audio as 2 tracks, the camera mic and a personal lav mic. My workflow has been to go through the clips and select which one sounds better. I couldn’t use them both because of varying timing differences between them. Now with Auto-Align Post from Sound Radix, because it can fix the timing differences dynamically throughout a clip, I can now use them both together, and in this free video tutorial, I am going to show you how.
To celebrate the first ten years and to welcome in the next ten, Sound Radix are offering up to $100 off Sound Radix plugins, with savings on everything they make but only until 1st August. To find out more go to the deals page.
