Propellerheads, the makers of Reason, have announced Reason 11, which will be released on September 25th. This release brings a slew of new features but one stands out above all the others - The Reason Rack Plug-in, which allows the rack devices in Reason to be run in a host DAW.
So far a VST3 version of the Reason Rack plugin is scheduled for September, with an AU version promised before the end of 2019 and Reason Studios, the new name of Propellerheads, are looking at the AAX format but no decisions have been made yet. Do we think Pro Tools needs the Reason Rack Plug-in?
