Real Plate Vs Plug-in Plate
A real plate reverb is a very large, very heavy electromechanical device which is sensitive to external vibration and has to be set up carefully to sound as good as it can. A real plate does sound undeniably attractive but exactly how different does it sound compared to a good plug-in emulation like the UAD EMT 140.
