Throughout December we offered the opportunity for over 30 people to win a prize of your choice from an amazing bundle of prizes that we pulled together from our generous partners, worth around £30,000.
The competition closed on December 31st 2019 and we’re pleased to be able to announce the winner is Brian Liston, of Clutch Sound, in Madison, Wisconsin.
I currently own Clutch Sound Studio in Madison, Wisconsin. We work primarily in the broadcast, video game and music industries. We operate from a spacious 2,600 square foot facility that can handle some large projects. Pro Tools is our baby and we are currently installing an MTRX system that will allow to finally use all of our mics at once with 64 inputs! We’ve had some great artists wander though our halls over the years including Kaleo, Five Finger Death Punch, The Mascot Theory and Kenny Hoopla. We’ve worked on many great television shows including Marvel’s Inhumans, Adult Swim’s Joe Pera Talks With You, and ESPN MNF.
We did a record number of remote sessions last year, and I expect to beat that record this year. I’m anxious to play with Live and see what its all about. I’ve been using other programs to record in the field to get VTC function at the audio level. It will be great to use Pro Tools for those jobs again. As we have a multi-room facility, communications are key to avoid walking from room to room. The iPhone app for talkback is going to be interesting. There are so many uses for that! Rest in Peace ISDN, you will not be missed.
