New Browser
Studio One 4.6 features a redesigned Browser with new view options for even more intuitive navigation, including a new PreSonus Shop tab, allowing you to explore new content with a single mouse click. In addition to the classic List view, the Browser now has a beautiful new Gallery view, enabling you to navigate your plug-ins, Soundcloud, Exchange, and Shop content in a more visual way.
Improved Patterns
Improved Studio One pattern arranging and pattern editing features include the ability to convert Instrument Parts to Patterns, great for building variations from existing drum grooves. Individual note lengths in Patterns can now be more than one step, which allows for more versatile basslines and sequences. Even better, this new feature works in both Melodic and Drum pattern modes.
Ampire Plugin & Pedalboard
The newly updated Ampire plug-in features all-new State Space models of classic amplifiers and pedal effects. State Space Modeling is a mathematical method of transferring each component in an analog circuit into the digital domain while maintaining the unique sonic characteristics of the original hardware. The new Ampire plug-in offers five new State Space-modeled amplifiers, 13 effects pedals including State Space-modeled distortion pedals, and 16 impulse response-based cabinet models plus a user model to load in custom IRs.
In addition, Ampire introduces an updated pedalboard, a precision tuner that is switchable between Standard and Strobe modes, and a choice of user interface options.
At its core, Ampire introduces five new amp models based on PreSonus unique State Space Modeling technology which captures every amp and its components in great detail. This includes dynamic behavior and non-linearities which are critical for capturing the unique tone and character of tube and semiconductor based analog circuits.
