Congratulations to Synchro Arts who have been recognised for their innovation in automated sound conformation with a 2018 Emmy Award for Technology and Engineering, which honours excellence in engineering creativity that are significant or innovative in nature because they materially affect the transmission, recording or reception of television.
Synchro Arts is one of a handful of brands to be honoured with this award, which was chosen by dozens of industry experts and peers.
The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) have also announced that the award ceremony for the 70th Annual Technology & Engineering Emmy® Awards in partnership with the National Association of Broadcasters, will be during the NAB Show at the Wynn Encore Hotel and Spa on Sunday, April 7th, 2019 in Las Vegas, NV.
Adam Sharp, President & CEO, The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS), told us…
“We are especially excited to be honouring these prestigious companies and presenting our gala again at the NAB Show where the intersection of innovation, technology and excitement in the future of television can be found.”
Robert Seidel, Chairman of the Technology & Engineering Achievement Committee added…
“Screen actors are always cited for Oscars. Stage performers are similarly proud of their Tonys. Television journalists are quick to add an Emmy® to their resume – and with good reason. We award the Technology & Engineering Emmy Award to these outstanding companies and individuals who are the ‘tool makers’ of the industry that have materially affected the television viewing experience.”
Jeff Bloom, Synchro Arts Managing Director has responded saying…
"Synchro Arts has always tried to provide audio professionals with tools that help them deliver their very best work, by making specific audio editing tasks easier and faster. We’ve largely achieved this by coming up with solutions that had never even been imagined, and many of which remain unique after more than 20 years. We are incredibly excited and so very proud that the industry has chosen to recognize our achievements with an award as distinguished as an Emmy, and we gratefully thank the members of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for this honour."
