Following on from our previous video on setting up the AX32 as a monitor controller, in this video, Mike speaks to Jan Lykke from DAD at BVE 2018. Jan gives us a walkthrough of the capabilities of the MOM monitor controller with an AX32 as a monitor controller and demonstrates setting up a custom configuration in DADman.
What is MOM?
MOM is a Eucon remote controller for use with the Pro | Mon software option for DADman.
Originally the monitor control functionality available in the AX32 and DX32 was integrated into the S6. The MOM (Monitor Operation Module) was devised as a way to provide access to the monitor control functionality built in to the DADman software. Not everyone uses Pro Tools and not everyone has an S6. The MOM brings that functionality to anyone who needs it.
- 10 user programmable keys
- 4 Layers
- 40 Functions
- Multiple MOMs in a single system
- Simple programming via a dedicated MOM tab in DADman
