Logic Pro X 10.4.5 is a week old, and there are already some really nice tutorials available to help you wrap your head around the new features.
First up is a forty three minute series of eight videos called Logic Pro X 10.4.5 Update Explained, by yours truly, available at groove3.com. I spent a lot of time in particular going over all the possible combinations available with the new dynamic plug-in loading feature. Understanding the nuances of how it works is the key to getting the most mileage from it.
Friend and colleague Edgar Rothermich has a brand new Graphically Enhanced Manual (GEM) with 78 glorious full colour pages of in-depth information about the new features and changes in Logic Pro X 10.4.5.. It is available as PDF from his website, or as a printed book on Amazon. For those who prefer Apple iBook format, it will be available on Apple’s iBooks Store as an interactive multi touch iBook in a few days.
Here are a few sample pages form Edgar’s book. Click on each image to see the full page:
Edgar also has two companion videos for his new book. They are part of his YouTube channel "Music Tech Explained - the visual approach”. All the videos are in UltraHD 4K resolution, highly produced with lots of motion-graphics and visual elements.
And finally, as promised in the title of this post, here is a little known Easter Egg that I haven’t seen mentioned before.
