Clip Groups. You can get by without them but when they are embedded in your workflow they are indispensable. In this free video tutorial, brought to you with the support of Avid, Pro Tools Expert team member Julian Rodgers demonstrates how to create and manage clip groups and offers three ways of using them.
Clip groups are, as the name suggests, a group of clips. They are flexible way of putting multiple clips in a container for easy manipulation.
Clip groups can be created from audio clips, MIDI clips or even other clip groups. They can be edited and copied freely and offer far less commitment than alternative workflows such as consolidating clips.
