In June we ran a poll asking you Which True Peak Limiter Do You Use? and three factors became clear. Firstly there is still confusion about which plug-ins are, and are not true peak limiters, exactly what is meant by true peak, and that there were a number of true peak limiters we didn't include in the first poll. So we decided to run a second poll and include all the true peak limiters that told us in the comments as well as a few more we found and we re-ran the poll and we can now announce the results of the second poll.
Which True Peak Limiter Do You Use? - Results Of 2nd Poll
Which True Peak Limiter Do You Use? - Results From 2nd Poll
Here is a table with the results so you can see the exact percentage breakdown of the voting in the second poll.
|True Peak Limiter||Votes %|
|Avid Pro Limiter||13.5|
|Sonnox Oxford Limiter v2||12.08|
|Nugen Audio ISL||10.54|
|Waves WLM Plus||6.94|
|A.O.M. Invisible Limiter||3.08|

|Kuassa Kratos 2 Maximizer||0.26|
|Blue Cat Audio Dynamics V4||0.13|
|Jünger Audio Level Magic||0|
|TBProAudio LA xLimit||0|
Now we can see what was in the 36% in the Other category from the 1st poll. It seems to be made up of the Fabfilter Pro-L, iZotope Ozone, with the DMG Limitless, and the A.O.M Invisible Limiter adding a couple of percent each.
At the other end of the spectrum, the Jünger Audio Level Magic and TBProAudio LA xLimit didn't register any votes.
What do you make of these results? where there any surprises either way, so higher or lower than you expected?
