I am a sound designer/editor living in Paris. My job requires from me to always be on the lookout for quality sounds in order to provide my employers with the best soundtracks possible. This is how Sample Diggers' In The Field Vol 1 comes in handy : great natural audio material that allows maximum creativity from me and optimal experience for the viewer.
I'm a field recordist and sound designer (re-recording mixer sometimes) for television and video games. I love sharing emotions with auditors, telling stories with audio, exploring sound and using it in unexpected ways.
Sample Diggers' In The Field Vol 1 will help me along with my colleague we work together on French SF binaural stories ("Les Furtifs", creatures made of flesh and sounds) and we are always looking for unexplained sounds! So thank you Mike and Pro Tools Expert.
Howard Ziwa Kyambadde
I am better known to my music circle as Howard Ziwa and I am originally from Kampala, Uganda. I started making music on Fruity Loops as it was then called, mostly as a hobby. I went through high school enjoying music production via sequencing. I never considered Music as a career path until I attended college. I had just been awarded my certificate in Computer Aided Architectural Drafting and was ready to take on a Civil Engineering Degree. However financial hardship forced me to seek out scholarships; and that is how I found a full ride music scholarship at a small college in Phoenix, Arizona which was then called Southwestern College.
To cut the long story short I auditioned and was accepted Since then, I have graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Music and have been blessed to work with some notable music Industry acts.
Sample Diggers' In The Field Vol 1 is a welcome addition to my sample collection and will be used in music for video projects.
I am polish musicologist, music and a design technology teacher, author of cultural education projects and self-producer. I live and work in Warsaw. Recently I’ve released an EP of my school band The Schoolers – featuring three young musicians aged 12. The EP has been recorded entirely at school (not in any studio).
The second EP is “Perhaps Strange” by DADA Kids. Pupils aged 10 and 11 recorded avant-garde sound poetry by Hugo Ball, Raoul Hausmann, Ernst Jandl, Kurt Schwitters and Jaap Blonk.
I’ve also recorded two audiobooks: one narrated by myself: “Uśmiechnięta Planeta” (“Smiling Planet”) and the other one “Nasza Mama Czarodziejka” (“Our Mother Fairy”) narrated by pupils and their parents. “Our Mother Fairy” was awarded 1st prize in Warsaw Competition for the Best Cultural Education Project.
As a musicologist I am focusing on researching the life and music of polish composer Tomasz Sikorski. He is regarded as one of the world's first minimal composers.
In my work in studio I use Pro Tools for mixing, WaveLab for editing and Reason as a creative tool (instruments, sound shaping).
I will be using Sample Diggers' In The Field in my next project “Cyber Explorers Orchestra”.
I studied audio engineering at the SAE in Vienna and started working in the audio post production industry in 2008 after changing from my job as software developer. I am working as a freelancer based in Munich. My work experience covers featured and short films, documentaries, crime series, TV & cinema spots, radio advertising, cartoon series, exhibitions, etc. I handle voice over, ADR and foley recording, as well as sound design, mixing and mastering.
I always like to add new sound effects, atmos and samples to my library and I am already looking forward to use the sounds from Sample Digger's In The Field Vol 1 in my next production.
