A Facebook Page has been set up dedicated to 'Studio Hacks' as a bit of fun so people can share our studio DIY tips and tricks and hacks. To wet your appetite here are some of the tips already posted on Studio Hacks.
To start with here is an idea from Will Seelig using Ikea Kitchen Rails and Hooks to store studio cables and headphones.
Next up is a tip from Xavier which has been featured on our sister site Ableton Live Expert and uses Ikea laptop stands to lift up a Push controller.
Continuing the Ikea theme, Christopher Xtopher has a tip to use Ikea toilet roll holders to hang headphones on.
Then we have one from our own Russ Hughes. Russ has discovered that Ikea slide out belt racks make great studio cable organisers for easy access to cables.
Finally here is one from Pro Tools Expert community member John Mackniskas who shared about his custom built studio sound panels and gobos using IKEA book cases.
These are just a handful of the tips and hacks already on the Studio Hacks page on Facebook. Check all out. We will be keeping an eye on the Studio Hacks page and we will post the best of the bunch here on Pro Tools Expert as well.
