Resizing tracks is pretty straightforward in Pro Tools. Lots of people just rely on grabbing the border between the track headers in the Edit window and dragging. I'm fairly old school in that I usually use Ctrl+up/down arrow (Start on the PC), often adding option/alt for do to all.
The most useful variant of these up/down+modifier track height shortcuts has to be CMD+Option+Ctrl+Down (or Up, it doesn't matter which) to fit all edit window tracks vertically. There is a minimum track height in Pro Tools so in large sessions all the tracks might not all fit but this shortcut has to be one of my top 5. I use it all the time.
