Avid have qualified the Mac Mini 2012 i7, as long as it has 8GB of RAM in it, along side the Magma ExpressBox 3T Thunderbolt expansion chassis for HDX systems.
This looks like a very powerful and cost effective solution for HDX users especially with the demise of the traditional Mac Pro and the unknown price and availaibility of the new Mac Pro.
