Announcements about plug-ins that will be ready for Avid’s launch of Pro Tools 11 are coming thick and fast.
Exponential Audio
Michael Carnes has released v1.3 of his two excellent reverb plug-ins, Phoenixverb and my favourite R2. They both have full ProTools 11 support as well as Eucon support for Avid and Euphonix control surfaces.
Noveltech Vocal Enhancer
The team at Plugin Alliance have announced that the Noveltech Vocal Enhancer is ready for Pro Tools 11 and will be available in 64-bit AAX Native and AAX DSP versions.
Softube won’t be ready
Despite an announcement from Avid on 6th June, which we reported, they have now made this update:
It was our error to prematurely to send a media alert on 6 June announcing the upcoming availability of Softube’s compatible plug-ins with Pro Tools 11 when it ships. Although Softube is working hard and is committed to have their plug-ins be 64-bit compatible, they will not be ready until shortly after the release of Pro Tools 11, and not at the time as we incorrectly announced. The latest AAX plug-in compatibility information can be found at: http://apps.avid.com/aax-portal/We apologise for the confusion.
