Universal Audio announced their Thunderbolt drivers for the Windows platform some time ago and yet we have seen or heard very little about this in the form of real world tests. In this announcement, there were a great many restrictions. The main one being support for Thunderbolt 3 only. This new format for Thunderbolt has been very slow to be adopted by PC manufacturers so James and Rich wanted to find out if the Thunderbolt Apollos would run under the older Thunderbolt 2 protocol.
