For those of you out there running any plug-ins from our good friends at Prime Studio, you'll be happy to know that they have just released an update which upgrades some of their products to the new Acustica Audio COREX Engine.
Essentially - this is all part of a continuous effort to make their plug-ins more CPU efficient whilst still providing maximum sound quality.
The following plug-ins have been upgraded to the latest Acustica Audio core engines and are available in your customer account for download:
- Prime Curve
- Prime Compressor
- Prime Mix
- Caribou Compressor
- Caribou Filter
- Caribou Mix
- Hubbard Squash
The new Acustica core engines have been designed to be less CPU intense whilst keeping the sound quality high and improving the overall stability. Prime Studio recommend that users check the "Read First" file in the corresponding download folder before upgrading to the new versions.
Be aware that the Black Series plug-ins have not been upgraded this time as they are already based on the latest Acustica Audio core engines.
There are upgraded trial versions, fully functional for 30 days, are also available for download in their online shop.
