Paul begins by mixing the bass into the track, Paul uses the Fairchild that he monitored through when he was tracking and then inserts a Harrison 32c to round off the bass and let it sit in the mix.
Next is the piano, Paul uses the fantastic Tonelux Tilt to tilt away the bottom end, and then uses his favourite plug-in for mixing piano, the SPL Vitalizer MK2 T, which he inserts into slot 2 to add width and clear up the center of the mix. The pad needs a little work so Paul adds the Neve 31102 to filter and eq to create space for the other instruments.
Paul then moves onto the guitars, which need a bit of space so Paul adds the reverb that he is using on the vocal to put it in the same space as the vocal. He then uses the LA2A Grey Face for some character and compression.
Finally, Paul moves on to Guitar 2, again Paul uses the LA2A Grey Face and EQs with the Chandler Curve Bender.
