PMC Speakers have chosen RSPE Audio Solutions to bring a brand new demo experience to professional audio clients on the West Coast of the USA.
They have established the PMC Flagship Boutique at RSPE's premises in Universal City, Los Angeles, so that customers can compare different speaker models in a range of acoustic environments. The Boutique features RSPE's ASC AttackWall systems, which offers the ideal setting to audition professional monitors with optimum imaging and acoustic neutrality. PMC USA's President of Sales and Marketing, Maurice Patist explains..
This new facility is an extension of the PMC factory, allowing us to deliver unparalleled levels of service, plus all the benefits of dealing directly with a manufacturer, to our burgeoning West Coast customer base. RSPE will primarily focus on our larger reference monitors that require highly specialised demo facilities. These include the new IB1S-AIII 'activated' reference monitor and the recently introduced QB1-A Active Reference Monitor, which has already been installed in a number of key facilities including Capitol Studios in Los Angeles and the University of Westminster in London.
Russ Belttary, President and CEO of RSPE Audio Solutions adds...
Working closely with Maurice over the last five or six years on a variety of projects has shown not only PMC’s professionalism but also a dedication to our clients that parallel our own commitment to customer service and to providing the audio community with the best possible purchasing experience, regardless of budget.
As well as enabling customers to test speakers in the PMC Flagship Boutique, RSPE can also arrange 'in studio' demos so that recording professionals can try speakers in their own recording and mixing facilities, thus allowing you to conduct real world evaluations in a familiar listening environment. There are 5 different models of PMC Speakers that you can listen to in the PMC Boutique at RSPE, check them out here.
PMC Announce IB1S-AIII 'Activated' Reference Monitor
The new IB1S-A III ‘activated’ reference monitor is a high resolution 3-way loudspeaker aimed at small to medium sized control rooms, and PMC has developed the IB1S-AIII to be ideally suited to a wide range of applications, from recording and mixing to broadcast, post production and mastering. The key to its natural, compression-free flat response at all levels is PMC's Advanced Transmission Line bass loading system. If you are not aware of the advantages of transmission line speaker design the you might like to watch this video from PMC.
I have to say that I am a fan of the PMC transmission technology. I have a 5.0 system consisting of three PMC LB1 speakers across the front and two PMC TB1 speakers or the surround channel. They may not be the current models but I can recommend that you take a look and a listen to PMC speakers and if you are in the West Coast of USA then do reach out to our friends at RSPE to arrange your own demo.
