Look what we have seen on the floor at NAMM 2015. At a first glance it looks like their popular Maag EQ4 plug-in.
But no, look closer, it is the Maag EQ2 500 Series module as a plug-in in Pro Tools.
Maag Audio tell us that it is due for release by the end of March 2015 as a Plugin Alliance plug-in.
It may also be released as an UAD plug-in in the future.
If you would like to know more about the legendary Maag EQ2 module with its AIR band, then check out our Show & Tell Review to which Cliff Maag Senior himself responded…
THANKS Russ! Great thorough review of the EQ2! Your assumptions regarding the importance of design and high tolerance components is spot on. I am so glad you performed the reverse phase test on the EQ2s to help prove this point. We designed the EQ2 to be a simple and powerful tool as you described in your review. Thanks again for taking the time to provide Pro Tools Expert readers such an in-depth and accurate assessment of the Maag Audio EQ2. Regards, Cliff Maag Sr
Cliff, we are looking forward to the plug-in version of this great EQ too.
