With the support of iLok, more tips & tricks from the community. Here is another winner from Jean-Michel Bocéno….
Do you share your work on two or more Pro Tools stations on Macs? You are fed up with several different preferences, templates, plug-in maps and settings?
You may not know that in Pro Tools 11’s preferences (Setup/Preferences/Operation), you can now choose the location for your Pro Tools user library. Just choose to place it in your Dropbox folder, or any other “clouded” folder, and do it for all your Macs. You’ll find all your settings on all your stations always up-to-date.
Well I didn’t know this was possible but there it is, you can set the location of the User Library which as you can see below contains things like Plug-in Settings and so on.
Jean-Michel if you send us your snail mail details we will arrange to send you a white stormtrooper iLok courtesy of iLok.
