Flux Announce New Builds Of Pure Analyzer And Elixir Plug-ins

Flux have announced new versions of their Elixir True Peak limiter and Pure Analyzer plug-ins. They have done a lot of work on the Analyzer plug-in where as it seems like a bug fix release for Elixir. There are working on AAX versions but nothing official beyond what we have on our AAX Database.

Pure Analyzer System (SP2) - Main New Features
  • UI: Add more layout
  • Add LEq ! for “live”
  • Add Dolby Dialogue intelligence in Loudness analyzing
  • New “Live Show” Layouts; dedicated to live performance monitoring with Stereo (or multichannel) reference (mixer output) + Microphone channel with Spectrum and Leq
  • Windows only; a second version with 64 bit floating point processing is provided to allow High precision analyzing. This version uses more CPU; so we do not recommend using it for general purpose. We provide it especially for developer who need high precision noise analyzing etc.
  • Stats: Add new incident detection on R128 Short term
  • Stats: new incident re-grouping; when possible.
  • Spectrum: Peak Label Font size setting
  • Spectrum: Add Third octave smoothing method
  • Third octave smoothing
Main Enhancements
  • Overall performance improvement between 15 and 70 % depending on setup & used Layout
  • UI: Better Invert Colour mode
  • IR: Add more information under mouse such as distance to peak (ref.)
  • Processing: More multi-thread processing ! allowing performance enhancement.
  • Stats: Rendering improvement + Add Red background on overloaded values
  • Metering: Add new preset for True Peak and EBU R128 to conform to the CST specification
  • Processing: Improvement of the overlapping processing to better fit the available CPU time in Real time
  • Spectrogram: Add direction
  • Metering History: Add Update Factor to increase the history time period
  • Metering History: Stability
  • IR peak/cursor distance
  • Improved Pink noise generator
  • Hide undefined curve regions
  • Refactor curve annotations
  • Remove zero size curves from display
  • Loudness info auto scale according to the size of the Meter
Main Fixes
  • Sometimes it doesn’t start or crash ² start-up on Mac OS
  • Averaging shortcut not working

  • Ensure curve bounds are always drawn

  • IR grid unnecessary redraws
  • Stack overflow @ init
  • User stats sometimes show ‘no signal’ depending on zoom
  • Processing: discontinuity can appear in processed signal when computer is overloading
  • UI: scale sometimes disappear
  • Pink Noise: plop or click on first time !!!
  • Leq settings should be hidden when Leq not displayed on meter
  • Mac OS X : Some start-up crash.
  • Mac OS X : Possible black screen at launch time before seeing the splash screen
  • Mac OS X : Info under Mouse on RTA and TF not properly displayed

  • Mac OS X & Windows - Fix Audio Suite offset issue
