In this session Russ shows the preparation before mix of fixing timing and groove and also getting the MIDI instruments down to audio tracks using a new Pro Tools 9 function.
Thanks again for a great tutorial video. I had a question on bouncing midi tracks to audio. Would you recommend keeping the plugins (compressors and eqs) on the midi track for bouncing or would you add them after to the audio track?

Cheers,

It depends on what producer or engineer you speak to.
There are two schools of thought, some producers/engineers choose to get everything down with minimal treatment and keep all the options open.
Others choose to get the sound they want and then commit it in the recording process.
