Hey Russ,

Great video.
Although the Mbox works a bit differently, because when you engage REC on a Track, it mutes the Mbox control panel input. This way you dont have to MUTE the track you're recording to in PT.

I have to buy the new Mbox in order to get access to dealay compensation ? isn´t smtg that will come in the next update for PT 8 ? if that´s true, I just have smtg to say: screw you Avid, g'bye Pro Tools, I am going with Logic Pro !

@ Maday
I think you are getting confused, latency and ADC are not the same thing.

All native based DAWs will have latency, yes even Logic.

ADC is another thing that compensates for the delay introduced by a plugin within a chain, which most DAWs have, but as yet not PT LE.

No one is claiming that this software DSP will change that in PT.

Nice video. Im still wating pro tools guys to enable direct input monitoring with the mbox or any other interface (pro tools 9), and allowing to turn software monitoring off.
