It's not often a set brings as much of a nostalgic smile to my face as this one, but this set of Rickenbacker guitars and basses is very special. Unless you've been in a cryogenic vault for 50 years then Rickenbacker need no introduction, made famous by the Beatles and then used by every music legend ever since, the unique sound of Rickenbacker is like no other. Here you have 2 basses, a 12 string electric and 12 string electric chords. All lovingly sampled for your delight by Alan Zeleznikar - big thanks Alan you're a star!

The 4001 is an unaltered all-original example. Both neck and bridge pickup samples are included. Use the neck pickup for that familiar Squire/Lee 70's prog rock clank. Use the neck samples and a little high end roll-off for those mid- and later McCartney masterpieces.
The 4003 has a darker (but still Rickenbacker bright) sound. The 4001 has an in-series capacitor that the 4003 doesn't have which makes the 4001 much brighter sounding.
The 620-12 is RIC's solid body 12-stringer; I set the front-rear pickup blend knob to 50% for these samples.

Is any one else having problems with Box? I've tried a few times now (and last night) and it just says its about to start my download but never does... (Normally firefox does but not since yesterday)
Is this a problem on my network (just changed) or is it box is what I really want to know?
