Chicken Systems Translator Demo Video

As promised a demo of the Chicken Systems Translator (forgive the ropey sound), in this video Russ shows translation of giga and NI format samples.

Russ,

I have a pretty huge EXS24 sample library and I also own Chicken Systems Translator as well as Structure.

I understand that Structure can play EXS files natively. Should I bother or is their any benefit to converting them to Structure patches?

The reality right now is that you can't guarantee that Structure will bring EXS samples in correctly. I've tested conversion for EXS in CST and it works so I would use this.

I tried this method with Structure 1.1 and my John Cage giga library. When I play the samples from the Waveplayer, they are total Hash and noise.

However, If I use CDXtract into NI they come in fine, but do not play in Structure.
Questions
1: Do you need to load the files from the disc to your hard drive before you convert or can you convert direct from the Disc?
2. Using the CDXtract versions seems to create .nki files that have the samples hidden inside the .nki. so if you try to load from Structure it can't find the files, despite having instructed CDXtract to put the samples in a subfolder. They do not seem to be there. They do play fine with NO Hash in Kontakt.
3. Using the Batch Resave feature in Kontakt 4.0 seems to do nothing. At least it is not consistant with the very old description on your web site.
4. Is it possible to get a step by step set of instructions as to copying direct from a Giga Library Disc set to a functional Structure 1.1 Patch?
